When you work with ONYX, you share sensitive information about your company: brand strategy, competitive positioning, audience insights, and upcoming initiatives. We take that trust seriously.
Confidentiality
All client information — brand intelligence, company data, strategic conversations, and delivered assets — is treated as confidential. We do not share, publish, or reference client work without explicit written permission.
No data resale
We do not sell, trade, or monetize client data in any form. Your brand intelligence is yours. We do not use it to train models, build products, or service other clients.
Full ownership
You own all deliverables outright upon receipt. The Obsidian package grants you full intellectual property rights to every asset: PDFs, Brand Intelligence File, LinkedIn posts, and editorial calendar.
AI Usage Transparency
ONYX uses AI-assisted tools in our content creation workflow. Here's exactly how:
- AI is used for initial research synthesis and draft generation — it accelerates the creation process.
- Every AI-generated draft passes through human editorial review. No content reaches you without a human editor approving it.
- Your Brand Intelligence File is created through a combination of automated analysis and human expertise — not AI alone.
- We use reputable, enterprise-grade AI providers. We do not use free-tier tools with opaque data practices.
- Client data shared with AI tools is used solely for your engagement and is not retained by AI providers for training purposes — we use provider tiers that explicitly exclude training on inputs.
Data Handling
What data do you collect?
Only what’s needed to create your Obsidian package: company website, brand materials you share with us, notes from our brand intelligence conversation, and contact information for delivery.
How long do you retain client data?
We retain project files for 90 days after delivery to support the revision cycle. After that, files are archived. You can request deletion at any time by emailing [email protected].
Do you share data with third parties?
Only with the AI and design tools necessary to create your deliverables (see AI Usage Transparency above). We do not share data with marketing partners, analytics platforms, or data brokers.
Can I request my data be deleted?
Yes. Email [email protected] with a deletion request and we’ll confirm removal of all project files within 5 business days.
